Description
One of the additional advantages of the side stairs is that they can be adjusted to three different degrees of inclination, allowing them to be adapted to the specific needs of each project. This makes them ideal for use in different contexts, whether in a commercial or residential environment.
You can add accessories or handrails (not included) to ensure the safety of users. However, the following considerations must be taken into account:
- When the stairs are positioned at 45°, you can install the pre-configured side rail, providing a safety and design element.
- For an inclination of 54°, you can purchase the necessary parts to create a custom railing.
- However, when the inclination is 63°, the handrail option is not available due to the verticality.

The stairs are height-adjustable, so, they are compatible with any Tecrostar mezzanine and other surfaces, provided that the HV matches that of the mezzanine to which it is to be anchored.

For greater versatility, the stairs adapt to different space configurations. They can be placed on either side of the mezzanine, either perpendicular or parallel to the beam. You can also use a stair landing to make access easier.

You can install them inside the mezzanine using the beam for interior stairs of the same range as the structure.

The products can be located indoors and outdoors taking into account some recommendations.

The material will be delivered at street level (curbside delivery) by an external transport company.

The minimum space required for the installation of this staircase model is 750 x 2100 cm (45º), 750 x 1700 cm (54º) and 750 x 1300 cm (62º) (width x length).

Yes, our stairs are compatible with other ranges, provided that the height of the staircase matches the height of the mezzanine or surface to be reached.
In our online shop you will find a wide range of staircase models with different heights. This allows you to choose the one that best suits your needs and specific height.
If you wish to install a staircase in XL mezzanines, it is necessary to purchase the Adapter for accessories, which will allow you to integrate it properly.
In TecroStar there are different types of staircases: some for private use, usually located in small spaces, some for general use, wider and more comfortable, suitable for workplaces or commercial premises.
Defining the intended use of the staircase is basic in most standards. Staircases are generally classified as service or private stairs, as well as general or public use stairs, the latter being more demanding.
There are in place many regulations for staircases in the different countries in which TecroStar is present. Therefore, it is difficult to determine whether a staircase type complies with a particular normative.
Our stairs are designed by defining the general criteria for each type of staircase, so that these are well defined and checked against those in the regulations:

There are very few international standards that cover the design of staircases, one of which is ISO 14122 "Safety of machinery. Permanent means of access to machinery and industrial installations", whose criteria are suitable for our category EASILY ACCESSIBLE STAIRS . For all other regulations, the general criteria should be verified, which can be easily compared with the data in the Technical Data Sheets.
If you have a specific regulation that your staircase must comply with, you can ask us and we will try to help you in your decision.
The stairs include the maximum number of steps that are required in their maximum heights. The more the height is reduced, the less steps will be installed. However, you can acquire additional steps as spare parts, the number of steps is designed according to the inclination of each staircase though. An excessive number of steps would reduce the going available for treading, specially important when going down.
Installation
Yes. They can be installed on a surface that is not a Tecrostar surface.
Wall anchors for concrete or brick are used to fix staircases to walls made of these materials.
The customer must bear in mind that they are responsible for the strength of the joint and structure to which they are anchored.

The anchor that connects the ladder to the mezzanine can be fastened with 2 or 4 screws. If you opt for the 2-screw configuration, the ladder will have the ability to pivot upwards. It is important to note that in both cases the ladder retains the same strength.
This adjustment is available on all Tecrostar straight flight ladders.
With the Electrical stair lift kit compatible with Japanese, straight and side ladders, you will be able to lift your ladder in complete safety and hide it at the height of the mezzanine.
Each model of stairs has an inclination and it cannot be changed unless otherwise stated. You must choose the stairs that best suit your needs.
Yes, the railing of both sides of the stairs is removable and, therefore, it can be taken off. However, we recommends to install it for security and because they provide rigidity to the stairs as well.
On the other hand, the stairs include the railing; it is not possible to acquire them without the railing.
You can find an fitter near you on misterassembler.com. This website puts fitters and customers in contact, so the price and the responsibility of the installation is the fitter's. This website is not associated with Tecrostar.
Tecrostar can provide you with an estimate of the cost of assembly that depends largely on the distance between the assembly team and the installation site and the type of service hired (prior visit and measuring, delivery service and transport of goods to the site).
In any case, this estimate must be agreed between the client and the fitter.
Shipping
The mezzanine floors are packed and shipped by an external agency in a lorry provided with a lifting platform, so that the boxes can be unloaded on the ground. The order will be delivered at street level to the address specified by the customer.
If there are access restrictions, there could be additional costs due to the necessity of transferring the merchandise to a smaller vehicle.
In order to deliver mezzanines XL, the delivery location should be accessible to a truck/long trailer (maximum mass admitted up to 36t). Should you think there is any kind of restriction, please contact us. The customer should take care of the merchandise unloading process. That unloading should be made from the lateral sides of the truck (this kind of truck does not have a back liftgate). We deliver the product packed with pallets at the bottom, so its unloading should be made preferably with a forklift.
Don't be alarmed by the total weight of the product, the components are light and manageable, so you can move them easily and take them up in the lift.The heaviest components are the primary beams from the L Range (39 kg), the rest of the ranges are considerably lighter (12kg).The floor panels are very light and fit in any lift. No component is more than 2.4m long and therefore, fits in most lifts.
However, it is important to mention that in the case of the XL range, some components may be a little heavier.
Sometimes, the carrier cannot access to point of delivery due to an extremely narrow street or any other difficulty. In such cases, the carrier cannot do the delivery with the usual truck and he may need to use a different vehicle or extra support.
If the carrier considers that the point of delivery is complicated, request a quotation. If you don’t inform in advance that the access is complicated, the delivery will be paralysed until you pay the extra cost.
At Tecrostar, we offer four types of boxes that are carefully designed to adapt to and protect the products. Depending on the products in your order, you will receive one or the other.
Mezzanine floors in the S, M and L range are shipped in the same type of box. The S and M mezzanines require one crate for each shipment. The L range, however, normally requires two crates.
The XL mezzanines are shipped in two boxes; one for the wooden elements and one for the steel elements.
The rest of the products (stairs, handrails and other items) are shipped in smaller boxes.

Our logistics department packs the products with great care to optimise the space available inside the boxes. Sometimes, smaller products may share a box with mezzanines. In this way we make the most of the space and ensure that everything fits correctly.

Práctica y sencilla de montaje
El montaje muy sencillo. La pieza de arranque tiene para los 3 diferentes ángulos por lo que no tiene complicación.
Para un angulo de 63º como es mi caso, sin una barandilla o agarre, puede resultar peligroso por la distancia que queda entre los peldaños.

Stabile Treppe erleichtert den Aufgang
Habe die Treppe an die 35 T angeschlagen (seitlich). Stabile Ausführung, und der Zusammenbau geht leicht von der Hand. Ich kann das Produkt empfehlen. Es ist nur zu berücksichtigen, dass ab einer bestimmten höhe des Podestes, der letzte Tritt recht weit weg vom Plattformboden ist, wer als das Podest weiter in die Höhe ausfährt, sollte evtl die größere Leiter nehmen.

L'escalier est super et très costo et j'ai moins peur qu'une échelle pour ma fille de 4 ans. Par contre dommage qu'il n'y ai pas en version avec rambarde sur le côté pour s'aider à monter ou descendre...

Fácil de montar y muy estable
Optamos por esta escalera sin barandilla, para tener mayor espacio visual. La barandilla está pegada a la pared y todo y que queríamos poner un pasamanos, de momento la voy a dejar así porque es lo suficientemente ancha y estable para subir sin barandilla. Calidad excelente.
