Description

Really easy to install and safe. The kit includes steel posts, handrail, intermediary aluminium bar and safety skirting board 15cm high, tube stoppers and screws.

Total length: 2m (Each side of the mezzanine, in which you want to install railing, needs an initial railing kit with 3 posts. The length can be reduced placing the posts closer to each other, and can be extended using the railing extension kits. The corners can be joint using the 2 corner elbows for railing kit).

XL range includes the adapters for the XL beam.

Check compatibility with other ranges or structures.
The material will be delivered at street level (curbside delivery) by an external transport company.

FAQs

Are the railings compatible among the different ranges?

No, they are not. However, there are other possible combinations between ranges, in which the performance and configuration of the standard product changes (see diagram).

Low railing:

Compatible with mezzanines of the S, M and L ranges. To go ahead with the installation, you must purchase one angular strut from the corresponding mezzanine range for each railing post.

Compatible with the mezzanines of the XL range. To go ahead with the installation, you must purchase one M/L angular strut and one Adapter for Accessories in Primary Beam XL for each railing post.

Loft bed railing S, Railing S, 4-Tubes railing S and Panel railing S:

Compatible with S range mezzanines: No additional accessories are required.

Compatible with the M and L range mezzanines: To go ahead with the installation, you must purchase one M/L angular strut for each railing post. Please note that the height of the handrail is reduced.

Compatible with the mezzanine of the XL range: To go ahead with the installation, you must purchase one M/L post clamp and one Adapter for Accessories in Primary Beam XL for each handrail post. Please note that the height of the railing is reduced.

All TecroStar railings are designed for installation on our mezzanines. The Railing with safety skirting board XL is the most recommended for installation on other surfaces.

Can the railing be cut to reduce its height?

This is not recommended, as to cover a space with reduced height (i.e.: attics, irregular/low ceilings, etc.) we recommend installing the Low Railing instead. This particular railing model will allow the height of the railing posts to be adjusted to the client's taste.

Does one flank of railing cover an entire side of the mezzanine?

That depends. The railing kits are 2 meters long. You will have to calculate how many kits you need.

What are the colours and finishes available for the railing?

The steel parts are coated with a highly adherent polyester paint coating using an electrostatic process. The colours and finishes available for the railings are as follows:

White (RAL: 9016). (Available from stock at no extra cost.)
Black (RAL: 9005) (Available from stock at no extra cost).
Any single-coat colour from the RAL range at an additional cost and upon request. We recommend checking the delivery times.

The handrail of the railings and stairs are available in aluminium in the following finishes:

Anodised silver (at no extra cost).
Black lacquer (additional cost).
Wood effect (additional cost).

The loft bed and rope railings are fitted with handrails made of solid natural beech wood. In the case of the spiral staircase railings, the handrails are available in black polyethylene or black rope.

Railing with safety skirting board

The Railing is a modular railing, 110cm high and up to two meters long, which can be installed in any Tecrostar mezzanine belonging to M, L or XL ranges.

Easy to install and safe. The Railing L kit includes steel posts, handrail, intermediary aluminium bar and safety skirting board 15cm high, tube stoppers and screws.

Geländerergänzung perfekt

Es handelt sich um eine Nachbestellung zur Lagerbühne TL20. Die ursprünglich mitgelieferten Geländermodule waren eigentlich ausreichend, aber wir wollten gern etwas kleinere Abstände zwischen den Geländerpfosten. Das Ergänzungsmodul hat das perfekt möglich gemacht. Zum Lieferumfang gehörten auch zwei Winkel, die wir zur Stabilisierung der Geländerpfosten an einem Nebenträger an Holzboden und Rahmenträger schrauben konnten. Das fanden wir ausgesprochen durchdacht. Die Lieferung aller von uns bestellten tecrostar-Produkte erfolgte im Übrigen zügig und bestens verpackt.
